I am considering buying a new cycle, having last regularly cycled more than 45 years ago, and was looking for sensible advice. I think this site provides it; I was unclear about ratios with derailleur gearing but now it is quite clear. Much of the other information is really common-sense (if there is such a thing!). I really liked the advice for teaching children to balance (especially interesting as I have a 3+ year-old grandchild who is starting to ride). My ONLY 'beef' is with some spelling and grammar; I am known as a stickler for correct spelling and matters grammatical, but hey!
