decent bike for normal road use...

Hi......starting to get back into bike riding at 62 ......not had a bike since I was 16 but did a lot then.....looking at a comfort model for normal road use....I like the looks of the Pashley Paramount, especially it's older charm and also the the Dawes Geneva which is available at a slightly lower price than the Pashley even though the RRP is dearer....any views or comments out there please on these 2 models...preferences etc....advice on quality.....Cheers, Paul
